#YouthVoices Reflections from Rural Youth Champions Literate and Eric

RYC Reflections and Insights from the Kuyenda Collective Annual Convening: Literate from Zimbabwe and Eric from Malawi

Check out the Rural Youth Champions insights following the Kuyenda Collective Annual Reflection & Learning Convening 2024

I come from the Matabeleland Province of Binga District in Zimbabwe and I am so grateful to be part of the Kuyenda Collective. In the review meeting I learnt that working together as a team enables us to yield better results and I should be interested in reading various materials in order to have evidence of things I will be inquiring about at any level of advocacy. I enjoyed socialising with RYCs from different countries and I would like to interact more with them so that we can share ideas concerning  advocating for marginilised communities in our localities.

What Happend? – Reflecting, reviewing,  reshaping  reclassification  of Kuyenda  Collective project from all four project centric countries on the achievements made, gaps identified, and areas of improvement  from the previous project phase  to the second phase. What I have learnt – Experiencing the positive understanding  of project outcomes and the emphasis  on the second phase target (Transnational Advocacy centiments) while keeping the pace with the first phase measures. Nevertheless,  coordination and moving together  are the keys to advance  the quality results. What I  enjoyed 😉 – The opportunity  for RYCs to voice out what they have learnt through   the project and share views on what they think are relevant  to be incorporated  into the kuyenda collective  in order to achieve  and attain the desired Goal in addressing learning crisis in targeted countries  and beyond. “Nothing for us without  Us”
