#YouthVoices Reflections from Rural Youth Champions Emelda and

RYC Reflections and Insights from the Kuyenda Collective Annual Convening: Emelda from Malawi and Quitério from Mozambique

Check out the Rural Youth Champions insights following the Kuyenda Collective Annual Reflection & Learning Convening 2024

What transpired through  the  review meeting from 16th-18th at Southern Sun Rosebank Hotel between the RYCs,KC partners was on the progress of the kuyenda project and what is to be done in the next phase of the project at a transnational space. What I loved learning through the meeting is on how the RYCs are doing advocacy work in their different countries and its uplifting aswell as borrowing a leaf on how best advocacy work is to be done across all countries that are part of the project. And what I enjoyed the most is the young people managed to voice out their positive  thoughts and concerns. And aswell the partners being able to respond to our questions.#Nothing for youth ,without the youths#.

Greetings!! My name is Quitério Diogo and my key takeaways were: 1) I really liked the way the sessions were being moderated and the good communication between the working groups, which shows the familiarity of young people from the four nations. 2) In terms of learning, I learned that all activities carried out must be documented along with evidence and success stories. 3) As for the event, a lot of good things happened, such as the resumption of the second phase of the project, including more young people in transnational meetings and events.
