#YouthVoices Reflections from Rural Youth Champions Winnifrida & Roderick

RYC Reflections and Insights from the Kuyenda Collective Annual Convening: Winnfrida from Tanzania and Roderick from Zimbabwe

Check out the Rural Youth Champions insights following the Kuyenda Collective Annual Reflection & Learning Convening 2024

I was able to attend the session, express my views, opinions, achivements and suggestions about the first phase and second phase of the project. I learnt about different education systems in the four countries. I also enjoyed and loved meeting my fellow rural youth champions from different four countries.

During the past three days, I had a clear understanding of how the project is supposed to be conducted. I learnt about the key systemic issues we are to address as we gather evidence for advocacy at national and transnational level which are poor education information managementsy stems and misaligned education resource management. My role as an RYC Champion and what is expected from us was explained, which is to make ourselves heard, participate, leadership, availability and learn from each other / other countries. I liked that I was given a chance to share my thoughts without any judgement and I liked that the workshop provided a platform for interaction and sharing.
