The Strategic Framework for Education for Sustainable Development in the SADC region is aimed at reaffirming the education system as a common good and transformative orientation for quality education delivery. The objectives of the Strategic Framework for ESD seek to strengthen education for sustainable development by advocating for existing policies and regulatory operational plans for education. The SADC member states are collaborating and creating synergies to advance research and development strengthening the regional knowledge management, monitoring and evaluation at national and regional levels. Improving sustainable education ensures the participation and active engagement of youth to acquire relevant education and foundational skills for enhancing employability for sustainable development.
